You're right - in the OT it does say 10%. At no point did I say I would never tithe. I simply have a struggle with it, so to start, I will give 5% on a consistent basis, and then increase to 10%

Since the giving average in the US is less that 3%, I think the fact that I have chosen to honor God on a consistent basis is a good start in working towards that full 10%.
