BTW the balls seem to clear the net by a big margin. Is it camera trick? I have the same problem with my camera. On court we dont seem like poping the balls. Any idea?
@mysticker2u someone told me that when the camera shows the far baseline, because it then appears that the far baseline is closer than it really is, there is an optical illusion that seems to make the ball travel slower. i find that if you shoot low from the side so that the court is elongated in the shot, the ball seems to travel at real speed. i did that with some of the donald young points at thailand open because my seat was on the side
oldies/classic style will never dies =) thumbs up! to be honest, all this people that think they "know" tennis n hating on this video, appreciate a lil will ya? this guys are old.. their postures are not pro tennis player's postures. but this type of players that gets all the balls back and giving slow pace balls "kills" a lot of junior players.. today junior players barely know how to play touch shots.. no hatin' on juniors coz i was a junior player x) and i do hit hard unlike this guys =p
Yea I agree with info. I'm sorry, but if you think you are good enough to teach other people, just quit. You guys are just pushing the ball on every shot. Sure there's consistency but you need more power. There are12 year old kids on the junior tour who could hit harder, and with more consistency than this.
I would guess it's for the whole court rental, not the number of people? For such a nice condition I'd probably pay for something like that once in a while. Sadly tennis courts are pretty sparse where I live because the winter ends the season.
I like the groundies :) Approach shots need some work :), even with the foot faults people are mentioning the serve is still good, foot faults happen, and are easily fixed, so mentioning in a video that a person foot faulted is somewhat relevant, but the actual form of the serve looks pretty good in my opinion.
The guy with the hat foot faults every time. He steps onto the baseline, and on the ad court, he also steps on the center hash (which is a pretty retarded rule sometimes).
And he's not even a natural net rusher. A natural net rusher would not have thrown that easy approach shot back at you crosscourt, and his footwork was relatively lazy on the body volley, which can be overcome with by having good hands at net. And he should've come in on the wide forehand slice. Plenty of open court to use.
indoor, hardcourt tennis court are my favourite tennis courts when you hit flat the ball is staying down, but when i play to clay the ball is going slow and i have problems to hit winners on clay
Pretty good IMO..

Very nice court! I wish I had a place like that to play at. 350 baht per hour is like 12 Canadian dollars... that's pretty expensive lol
chrisbahen 2 years ago
it was expensive, but it does come with free towels, water, and showers.
