did you switch the body style for the dragonfly and the crane in the oracle series? i thought that the dragonfly was supposed to be folk body and the crane the dreadnaught, but when i looked in the guitar shop it was switched.
@ninjababyjesus The current Crane is a dreadnought body and will remain so.....we had a few come in as folks so we offered them for a limited time but players preferred it in the dreadnought. The Dragonfly is a folk model.....same thing.....we had them produced in both profiles and players voted for the folk. All new production models of Crane will be dreadnought and Dragonfly will be folk.

the guitar is really suitable for strumming but I think it's at it's best when playing fingerstyle
I used all my letters in the first comment but what I would like to add is that I play more percussive fingerstyle with lots of slap harmonics and it sounds wonderful when you do that on the Luna Oracle Zen but the only bad thing is that it only has 18 frets so it's pretty hard to do a slap harmonic on the 19th fret, because you are slapping on the wood and not on a fret..
@K1LL14N thanks you mate..yeah it really is a risk to buy a guitar without actually testing it out but no where i know has it in stock, im really considering getting it just cause its beautiful and it sounds great fingerpicked but i wanna hear it strummed. you should post a demo out and would love to see how it sounds. im not sure if i want this guitar over the one i already chose but it just looks so unique..i dont do harmonics to much anyways but strumming is a yes lol. appreciate it bro

I had that guitar when it was made by Dean, number 300 I think it was, have my C.O.A sitting around here some where. The frets started to pop off so they sent me a Exotica RSE as a replacement...I miss the flame maple back and sides, gave it a unique tone, and the inlays were to die for! Loved it...I miss it dearly...oh and the hsc it came with was amazing as well.
I love Luna guitars. I recently bought one for my girlfriend, and they really are lighter and easier to play than strictly "macho-minded" guitars. I'm thinking of getting one of the arch-tops for myself someday when I have the cash kicking around.
what body style is this guitar? just wondering so I know what case to order with it.
