that is a common snapping turtle. Alligator Snapping Turtles dont have smooth shells like that or scute on there tails either. Those tail spikes (scutes) tell you it is Common. The beak is all wrong too not curved enough. I have 12 common and 2 ali's that's not a Ali sorry

thats a common snapping turtle, alligator snappers have darker shells and bigger backs ??
and it needs a bigger tank
