yea the new Dr Who just dont have the merit as the orginal but i say there been plenty Dr.'s like there been plenty of James Bond...Roger Moore was my favorite Bond by the way
These were the best ones, his"costume" was emulated in Th e Big Bang theory, and on a cop show, forgot which one, the alibi was a DR. Who convention, LOVE IT!!!!!
yeah, I'm one of the (probably) DOZENS of Doctor-Who-wannabe-lookalikes who wore a stupid long scarf around college campus, hoping it might attract the Sarah-wannabe-lookalikes, needless to say, to no avail whatsoever.
Can anyone help?... When I was a young girl I LOVED Dr Who, and from a little girls memory Dr who looked like Tom Baker, but I remember him wearing a red suit with a gold cape? Am I thinking wrong? Did he change into that super hero esque outfit when he killed random alien things? This theme song and a lot of it is so familiar although very vague. Any help would be appreciated THANK YOU!
@Dawnina77 That kind of reminds me of Peter Davison. The Fifth doctor right after Tom baker in 1981. But he had a gold suit with a red lining to it. Close enough, but I might be wrong.
I love the way the interiors still have that 1940s look - there's something cozy about it; old world strangeness. That style kind of stretched across the late 40s, 50s and early 60s, and in places like Britain, didn't get replaced until the late 70s. Too bad, because everything that came after was just contrived/modern, self aware gaudiness.
Tom Baker was, and remains to this day, THE best Doctor Who. He is the funniest, sharpest, and sexiest Doctor Who ever and when he left the show I was absolutely dismayed. Anyone who does not agree should submit themselves to the hospital forth with and apply for treatment.
@islandsylph Sexiest?! Oy vey, you must be attracted to rocks then. He's a bloody ugly man. He's funny, cool, and all-in-all one of my favorite Doctor's (the sixth was such an arrogant prick) but he is not, in any way, sexy. This is not to belittle him, or insult him, or to say he is anything less than magnificent. It is merely that sexy is not one of his many great attributes.
That said, I'm sorry but I still prefer Matt Smith's Doctor. Because bow ties (and fezzes) are cool.
@TheZacula honey, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, I prefer tom baker as the doctor. it is his nature that makes him beautiful to those who love him.
I think Matt Smith gets a lot of his swagger and crazy demeanor from Baker. Which is good, because Baker is the best of all of them. I loved Tennant, but Baker still beats him any day.
@Karok01 If you look around on google you can find them. Netflix has some too. The only problem is that I can't ever find a site that has ALL of the episodes. I always have to jump to different sites to find the old ones. Annoying, but Tom Baker is worth the effort :D
@LONGPORKBUFFET dude ok Im American so I never heard the term before I became a Whovian so I have to ask, are jelly baby's the same thing as jelly beans?
@mcdrunkin LOL! I'm an American too, & I've never had them. From what I've seen of them I trhink they're more of a Gummie bear or a sour patch kid without the sugar on it.
I think this is who Sasha Gray was singing about in I Need A Doctor lol

@TheZacula attracted to rocks? Well, that's a little rude don't you think? Physical sexiness fades in time, Sexy starts and finishes in the brain.
I have never seen Matt Smith in this role. He's a child anyway, so perhaps that is why I prefer adult men.
