  • you say 2 years it took to make this with 3 people working on it? how many manhours is that if you had to guess?

5000+ hours between the 3 of u maybe?

  • @dmhackerwardenlawl It wasn't 3 people, it was 2 (I [Fernito], and JLennox).

As for the manhours, we only dedicated a small part of our time each day working on this, so it would be much less than 5000 hours. I'd say 1000 hours, at the most.

  • @Fernito69 what's your favorite episode to speedrun?

  • @WallSpace That's a really tough question. I think it's "Shrapnel city" :)

  • a wn por la chucha me marié

    happy camper

  • jaja, wena compadre!

  • de que se trata esto?, pasarlo lo más rápido posible?

    y que genial el final

    7 de vida :uy

  • jajajaja :P

Así es, la idea es pasarlo lo más rápidamente posible, sin cheats por supuesto, sólo usando glitches.

  • Gus, you played on keyboard only? This speedrun reminds me about parkour. Ah, Duke Nukem Parkour 3D. He will beat any world records, especially in sport.

  • When playing "normally", I usually play only with keyboard, but when I'm speedrunning, I play with mouse because you can turn faster. PS: haha, Duke Parkour LOL :P

  • What do you say? I think it's good idea about Duke Nukem Parkour 3D mod.

  • Of course it is a good idea! Sadly I'm not a modder, only a mapper. Talking about parkour, look at "glitch city" in my videos. You may find it interesting :)

  • i have t say...your cooperative work has payed off

i admire u theese are trule the fastest Duke speedruns i ever saw

now i know a faster way for a level that u finished it diff way...

    fusion station level!

at 1:47 if u had jetpack u just fly up to the gate and burst in when it openes

  • Thanks for your comments :)

As for the faster route you pointed out for Fusion station, we already knew it, but notice that we play every level from scratch, so we don't have a jetpack at that point :)

  • i see, so thats pretty cool too

but can u tell me how to record in game with Dukes recorder that comes with the game? and make a vid with all the glitches like a tutorial or something like that...

    lol

  • OK, to record with the built-in feature you must type "duke3d /R /V# /L# /S#", where V is the episode number, L the level number and S is the skill. To playback the recorded demo you must type "duke3d /ddemo1.dmo". Keep in mind that I use the original DOS version, I don't know if this works in WinXP ports.

As for the glitch thing, you gave me a good idea. As soon as I have time I'll record some tutorials :)

  • oh cool im happy to give u such idea...and...where do i type that rec command? and how? lol im kinda nab

  • In the DOS prompt. You should use DOSBox (DOS emulator) if your operating system is WinXP or further.

  • alright, thanx for all the tips and "lessons"

im asking all of this cuz im opening a new youtube channel called DukeNukem3DComps

its gonna be a big compilation with playing trought all the levels with details and all secrets

  • Amazing!

  • wena feño
