This was the first song, I'd heard as a kid, from U2 where The Edge's guitar sound caught my ear. It vaguely sounded like punk to me and yet it was much bigger sounding.....HUGE,in fact. Years later, that huge sound is the anthemic thunder of the The Edge that has inspired legions of bands since. I'm not a big U2 fan anymore because Bono has become too self-important, but THIS U2 was absolutely amazing...brings back some memories. Thanks for posting this song.
