Haven't played this yet since I'm not home, but I should be home in January. I've never really tried to understand the KOF system, but I've played quite a few of them (I actually got more into the 3D version because of the sheer amounts of ass-kicking damn near every character can dish out. =P). Still, do you recommend getting this game? I mean, I more than likely will regardless, because I love fighting games, but can you give any type of insight into the system?

That's an interesting question. I'd say that, yeah, it's worth getting if you have other people around you to play it with, or if you have a few friends who you happen to have a god connection with, since the online is REALLY bad with a few exceptions. Online aside, I like the gameplay in that it goes back to the conventional KOF feel while introducing some new mechanics into the mix. Makes it more technical then some peeps give it credit for.

I got that game. To me, its the best KOF at the moment, but his only lack is the poor online play. Do you think they will fix it one day? Im sick of the delay. I even like KOF12 more then SF4 because Sf4 is way too slow to me. Too slow in a way that every players end up playing the same way, forcing me to play like them and i hate that. I still like SF HD and SF 3rd strike, but not long ago, i sold my SF4.

I've got my issues with SFIV myself, to be honest, but it's fun. I've been a KOF fan more than anything else, though, so I share your views, personally. I appreciate what SNK wanted to do by making this a re-birth. They just could have gone about doing it better, or at a more prudent time, I think.
