  • truth has one side choose it!

  • these guys eat nickleback and shit slayer!!!

  • @hauntedmemorie

Can't believe that ur mentioning these two on this page. Blackfoot were one of best bands that I ever saw, and the energy!!! Check out Blackfoot Live to get some flavour.

    TD

  • @The1200Dude ..my point is....nickleback sucks and SLAYER is raw energy....they can eat up garbage pussy bands and still show the hardcore how its done....and ive seen them 5 times..with journey...with black oak arkanas...and so on

  • @hauntedmemorie Sorry, I just wouldn't give either band the time of the day. Blackfoot played as a full on band, grabbed the audience by the scruff of the neck and took them screaming with them. A great experience!!

    TD

  • @The1200Dude oh hell yeah they do....showmanship was important too....love these guys

  • @The1200Dude Still do.

  • @wink89815 Yes, and me to!

    TD

  • saw this band numerous times with molly/.38 spec/skynard.Allmans....damn the 70's was an AWSOME time to be a rocker

  • Can't decide this music, the energy is there, but where is more...?

  • Chris Rock says he hates naggers. It's TWUE.

  • The comment section shows me a lot. Its music you fags so shut up and listen to it. Another thing is that as humans we hate each other, we are jealous of each other and we never get along. There will be an end of times its written everywhere and all cultures believe in it. My point is all you internet fag homo warriors will have to come out from behind your computers one day and you will die like all the other weak animals always do over time :)

  • I thought Bush started the Civil War

  • can you say COKE??

  • Coke Train ya think

  • I started the civil warBoxers or Briefs

  • doubt me u doubt ur country

  • Democrtas are the racists

  • This song makes we wanna drink whiskey. You idiots make me wanna shit the bed.

  • Anyone that can't sit back and enjoy the absolute joy of this live video has a sad life. The raw energy of this version of Blackfoot is amazing. I miss them. And bless the soul of Jakson Sprires.

  • Who gives a fuck about the stupid shit you people are talking about? Take me on out of this town.

  • These guys rock! I saw them back in the 70s in Fla.

  • Can't get much better than this for good ol American R&R - slide guitar, a couple Les Paul's, rock-steady bass line, and a damn good drummer. What more do you need?

  • To hell with all the politics and lets just rock out to this kick ass song.

  • WHAT!!!

  • Listen to there songs instead of talking about abraham lincoln and slavery and whatever else dumb shit! This is a great fuckin rnr band! Period! You motherfuckers are stupid!

  • Most of the old school rock n rollers grew up listening to alot of black musicians. including southern rock, classic rock and also old heavy metal bands! You people need a fucking education on rnr!! Fucking idiots!!

  • This is what i hate about people who comment on "southern rock" bands. people always have to involve race and slavery into it and all this bullshit! This is a ROCK N ROLL band!! Fuck your politics and other bullshit!! Its fucking rnr!! "southern rock" bands werent even racist but theres alot of you ignorant motherfuckers out there who wanna put them in some category. If you knew the facts instead of what you want these bands to be you would know that!

  • Ricky was SO much more enjoyable with BF than he is with Skynyrd!

  • Mann, I don,t think they could have done a finer job of scewin this song slapp ass up....

  • I used to watch MTV non stop just to see this video back in the day. They were rockin.! Skynyrd is ridiculously sad at this point.

  • F>> I just had a flash back

  • My band added this song because one member's dad wants to play on stage with us at his retirement party. He figured he could swing the rhythm guitar part. We played it for the first time last Friday and he was like "oh shit, I better practice". But the real story was the crowd totally responded and instantly filled the dance floor. I was surprized so many people would recognize the song especially since it was a young-ish crowd. I guess that is why they call some music "timeless".

  • he don't need me

  • never allow others to dictate you

  • we're waiting

  • Southern Boys and Southern Rock or Niggers and Rap....Southern Boys every time Baby!!!!!

  • @CivisAmericanus. Where do you think eight and twelve bar blues come from, Grand Wizzard?

  • @Oprey22 Black folks of course, as well as Jazz, love to see an educated person here.

  • @gh3ngiskh4n without these so called "niggers" there would be no rock and roll. isnt it funny tht ignorant white people use the word nigger (which means ignorant) and they should be calling themselves that. Why cant people get past skin color and jus get along?

  • @Jahismysoul1 I'm Native American and African mix, I, by instinct, despise European-Americans, they're all ignorant pieces of shit, and the reason this country is in shambles. But hey, what can you do?

  • @gh3ngiskh4n well im caucasian but no one race is "evil" but the amount of closed minded racist whites is alarming. and bcus they r white, no one does anything to stop it. But may god have mercy on there souls. One Love

  • @Jahismysoul1 NO RACE owns racism. Jews are racist against everyone else. Blacks are taught to distrust whites, as whites are taught that blacks are lazy and ignorant. Arabs are taught that jews were made from pigs and monkeys. ALL OF THIS FALLS ON PARENTS, ALL OF IT! And this has nothing to do with TRAIN TRAIN.

  • @gh3ngiskh4n You could kill yourself.

  • @gh3ngiskh4n YOU may be the reason racism still exists. Do you personally know every one of the people you accuse? I am neither ignorant, nor shit. Perhaps what you see is difference in culture. Perhaps you should try a different place, or a different attitude. What do you know about Genghis Khan? Not how to spell it, that's for sure. Maybe you should move to Mongolia.

  • @Jahismysoul1 They ARE ignorance gone to seed!!!!

  • @CivisAmericanus You know these guys are Native American right? Fucking YouTube morons...

  • Thanks to these songs worth listening to rock and roll

  • Rickey Medlocke.

    Oh, HELL YEAH.

  • LOL the Blackfoot Confederacy was a northern tribe, mostly -gasp- CANADIAN

    I love youtubers fightin

  • Jackson Spires was never given the recognition as an awesome drummer that he was.May he rest in peace.RIP.

  • Why is it that Irish artists who stand up against British oppression considered Heros; and Southern aritsts who stand up against Yankee oppression considered Racist?

  • @Draculya1701 good point, not just yankee opression notherners dont bother me, but more so the power hungery heads of state and other behind the curtain individuals pulling the puppet strings in washington dc and all over the globe

  • If you don't like this song, you're dead inside.

  • I saw these guys open for The Who in Oakland. Great energy. Real sleazy Southern Rock.Authentic and awesome good fit for Medlock and LS, but wish they could have madeit bigger!

  • slide guitar counters all

  • In the words of Homer Simpson "Duhhhh"! I just got my ass kicked....It felt so good.

  • WINNING!

  • Haha no liberal band matches up to blackfoot!

    Blackfoot > R.E.M.

    Blackfoot > Grateful Dead

    Blackfoot > Bruce Springsteen

    Thumbs up for

    STATES' RIGHTS 4EVER!!

  • @thatdamyank33 You're an idiot. The band's name is Blackfoot because most of the members are Indians. No way do they believe in racist garbage like states rights.

  • @ThankYouRickPerry States' rights isn't racist man. It's actually part of the Constitution that Abraham Lincoln totally shit on when he invaded the South in the 1860's.

  • Is that really Ricky?

  • eye for an eye hippie fucks!!!

  • @02indianscout What the fuck is that supposed to mean smoothbrain ?

  • Shoot em! wa hooo!!!!!

  • Unbelievable! Love it! Can someone tell me the name of the Lead Vocalist/Lead Guitarist?

  • @DespHusbandsWife That would be Rickey Medlocke on lead vocals, and in this case, slide guitar....he and Charlie Hargrett shared lead guitar duties(Charlie was the "lead" guitarist, but Rickey played a fair share of them as well). Rickey dissolved the band back in the late 1990's to join the Lynyrd Skynyrd "touring" band, where he remains today. Charlie, Greg T. Walker(the bassist), Bobbly Blaze and damned if I know who's drumming these days still tour as Blackfoot.

  • enter your text here

  • Rickie Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd on lead

  • These guys should have been mega. Newcastle Mayfair was blown away.

  • Fuck these guys are all original and know how to kick it! This drummer would love to find some music men and or girls and just kick out the jams!

  • the singer reminds me of emile hirsch

  • content of character MLK jr

  • you put Thomas Sowell up 4 prez he's got my vote and he's black so stop calling me racists because I despise Obama, because he's a communist,I don't give a flying fuc% your skin color

  • hey liberal idiots they fly the rebel flag because they believe in states rights(right or wrong) without governmnet (lincoln) interference

for liberals who claim to hate war you seem to promote it when it benifits you

  • @Syzygy60 I'm a Liberal..and know many..I'm also a tree huggin Hippie..we NEVER promote, endorse, or want to see war. It never solves the problem..it only creates more. too bad Conservative right wingers can't understand that.

  • @karmanichippie Too bad obama cannot understand that as a liberal , Afghanistan, iraq, libya and now yemen good job on that whole peace thing try again. So librals never promote war ? get real they are the most violent about their beliefs just look at the most liberal organizations promoting violence. Please play again your spin doesnt work here.

  • @Syzygy60: states' rights ... to keep slavery legal.

  • @machias88 At the time the majority of the US, including the territories, allowed slavery. Slavery was only part of the secession. Tariffs, Taxes, and unfair representation also contributed to separation of the south. The Rebel Flag doesn't stand as a symbol of slavery, it stands as a symbol of the South.

  • @jethrodaniel777 You are mostly right, however, when the KKK adopted the Confederate battle flag to use as their own symbol of hatred, southerners allowed themselves and their symbols to be hijacked by merchants of hate who would become known as the original domestic terrorists. Much like the US Army in 1938 had to redesign the unit patch of the 45th Infantry Division as it was originally an American Indian symbol that is now known as a "swastika", another famous hijacking of a symbol.

  • @Syzygy60

If Jesus were here, he'd be killing people for the freedom of choice he gave them in the first place. Difference of opinion? Jesus' AK47 would take care of that . YEEHAW

  • @HoopOoted Yeah, you're right...old J.C. being from the midle east...he'd probably choose AK. It never fails...

  • @Syzygy60 Wait a minute, you call liberals idiots for support the Lincoln government... yet in order for you to be against liberals means you have to belong to the Party of Lincoln. So... you are against states rights, but you want to attack Liberals by claiming they are against states rights? Your comment makes no sense. And yes, I realize the Republicans of today are the Democrats of yesterday, guys like Reagan, Helms, Thurmond, Lott, etc, all changing to a party that endorses racism.

  • @Syzygy60 Same as republicans and conservatives then

  • @Syzygy60 In 1860, southern leaders told the South to secede. They believed Lincoln was an abolitionist. Abolitionists were people who worked to get rid of slavery. The South was afraid, Lincoln would outlaw slavery. This would have made a problem for the South since its way of life depended on slaves. Southern farmers would be forced to pay former slaves for work. Plantation owners would make less $. What was that "States Rights" bullshit over? The right to own a person. You're brainwashed.

  • @Frostweld You're a complete idiot. Lincoln did not start the Civil War over slavery. This is what Lincoln ACTUALLY said before the war in regard to the slavery issue, "I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so." Why don't you try to learn something before you sound like a total jackass.

  • @1dixielandcrew "what Lincoln ACTUALLY said before the war". Dumbass, you put the emphasis on the wrong word. You are correct he did say that BEFORE the war. Which changes nothing and makes no point.

  • @Frostweld I put emphasis on that word because it shows that what I was quoting was a fact and not some bullshit opinion that you pulled out of your ass to get your point across.

  • @1dixielandcrew You can quote and queef all you want, but when it comes down to right and wrong, you're on the wrong side of history, again. Get the fuck over it, stooge.

  • @1dixielandcrew That was a phrase used for poilitical expediency--No it s true slavery was not the primary cause, but Lincoln despised slavery and to attempt to paint him as nuetral is untrue--there was much pressure from all sides and politics is/was very messy, do not take a few comments to paint Licoln as pro-slavery

  • @warren3427 Oh I'm not saying he was straight up pro-slavery I'm just saying that he certainly didn't care enough about it to start a civil war over it. What I mean is that he wasn't an abolitionist like a lot of Republicans in his party were at that time.

  • @1dixielandcrew yeh he was being a wishy washy politician not taking a side

  • @1dixielandcrew Nerd ;()

  • @Syzygy60 Your wrong.. Look it up.. Its not hard.. Greg Walker is a native american.. Not a big fan of "states rights" the flag was for show.. Like a lot of southeren rock acts around that time.. Do they look political to you?

  • @Kevin351965 Um Native Americans fought with the South in the civil war especially Creek, Cherokee, and other southern indians and they fought by choice not force. Just because a person is indian does not mean they do not fly that flag I've seen a lot of indian people around here in NC do the same. Please shut up about things you know nothing about and by the way a lot of musicians don't look politically but they are human and have views too.

  • @NC910Killa Well maybe you should be the one to do a little research. The choctaw owned slaves and yes and some fought with the south, and some with the north. I said look up Greg Walker.. I didnt say they werent human either. You assumed that.. Greg Walker has a web page where if you look you might see that he doesnt think like you say he does.. So maybe you should shut up , cuz it looks like tyour the one who has no idea what hes talking about.. Only some cherokee fought with the south.

  • @Kevin351965 lol most of them fought with the south because a federal government was something they hated more than anything else and low and behold they were right because the federal government did a lot of horrible things to the Native Americans.I don't care what Walker said they wouldn't fly that flag unless they liked it period. You talked of people who were Native Americans as if they all shared one view so I thought you should hear some truth. The federal government screwed indians.

  • @Syzygy60 Exactly. The Flag has nothing to do with racism. Remmber, States in the North had slaves also. It's a form of the Union Jack you know.

  • his guy reminds me of Mark Farner of Grand Fun k Railroad both excellent showmen and musicians

  • this ain't no train wreck wooo hooo

  • Wado!!!! wado

  • What great memories, thanks for the upload. I saw BLACKFOOT in 1980 for my first concert. Point Blank opened then Blackfoot and then Foghat. After hearing TRAIN TRAIN I was hooked. Blackfoot become one of my most favorite bands. Keep the videos coming.

  • My name is coryzane and I smoked some blackfoot on the train in the 70's

  • LOUCURA DEMAIS! EU AMO BLACKFOOT E LYNYRD SKYNYRD!

  • LOUCURA DEMAIS!EU AMO BLACKFOOT E LYNYRD SKYNYRD!

  • is the bass player geddy lee's brother???.....he he just jocking

  • Kid Rock is old. Never knew he was in Blackfoot

  • Wow! Hard to comment. So glad everyone likes the music or at least wants to comment on their opinion of it. Ricky was member of Skynyrd before it was Skynyrd. He would have been on that plane If he had not started Blackfoot with Ronnie's blessing.Sorry folks, i am 53 years old and was part of that entourage ( we did not call it a posse in the golden years of Rock) and this is hard for me. We lost Jaxson (Thunderfoot) to a brain anneurism a few years ago.

  • I have read so much puke from several sites tied to the songs of Blackfoot. You guys that get it, Thanks. I was an audio tech during that era. I had the privilege of knowing those Men and working with all of them. Thanks! Ron (Corky)

  • If the battery in your truck ever dies, just hook your jumper cables up to this song! ;)

  • It doesn't matter who is from where. This is a kick ass song. I do miss the harmonica at the beginning.

  • Drummer for skynyard

  • Ricky was a drummer for a brief period in 1970 untill he left to form Blackfoot

  • How the Hell can you not like thiis song !!!!

  • know how u know if ur good, ask the girls

  • music is repetition we all r posers

  • @lildaigo11 yeah and at 25 you know all there is to know about southern rock. I think you are the poser and should listen to Bieber like the rest of your friends and live all rock alone.

  • @lildaigo11 First, learn how to spell Skynyrd. Second, Rickey Medlocke used to play in Lynyrd Skynyrd, so before you go making accusations, learn a little history. And by the way, he is also p
