  • why if you are a fuckn engineer. do you carry stuff and do hand work like workers? fuck it man i studied 20 years and have MSc in Electrical engineering. I just got an offer as a field engineer from an Oil and Gas company. I will never do this harsh job. I studied all my life not to do physical job. Fuck this shit!!!

  • I like how he's not locked into a tag line while he's walking across the gaps in those tanks...you're supposed to climb up each individually. That Gel-pro and Blender looked like nice rigs though.

  • OMG when are people going to learn that Fracking is bad bad bad. We have people that can light there tap water on fire because of fracking. It destroys all the underground water ways. It's nothing but bad.

  • @hempseed57 you sir know nothing at all about fracing

  • he said "it's 4:20 AM, we are probabbly rolling.." i was expecting joints, not rolling off of our yard.

  • Schlumberger is the epitome of the evil corporation that doesn't care about its employees. The real life Umbrella Corporation.

  • These fuckers didnt even gimme an interview for an entry level engineering position..shame on them u.u

  • i worked in schlumberger for a limited period..

actually i gained good experience and many loses specially in my weight i lost more than 25 kilos in less than 3 months...

  • I'm surprised about some of the comments I've read, a lot of my instructors and profs say that schlumberger is one of the best. Once I finish my degree in petroleum engineering I'd like to work for schlumberger to see if some of these comments are true.

  • My husband just started this job today in alice, texas. I dont know why yall guys complain about this job if yall havent ever worked there. My husband aint no candy a** like some guys.

  • Half of you mutherfuckers on here don't even have jobs, so don't hate on men who are trying to eat. The men who work out there are real men, and you pussies couldn't last a day out there. Not only that, we make big money doing that kind of work.

  • Jeez they all look like a bunch of slaves or prisoners. Not to mention working at 3am in the middle of fucking nowhere "elk city Oklahoma! . I hope at least they pay you well idk a million dollars a year or something.

  • fucking fucked up company lol....

  • I heard that big companies like that monitor their employees every move from mouse clicks to keystrokes on their computer. I also heard that they can track wherever you are in the building using a chip in the badge. I would rather be at a smaller engineering company making less money.

Big companies could care less about their employees.

  • Hardest sleeping truckers around!

  • Those were the good old 'easy' days... single stage job, close to home, done by noon. Horizontal drilling and stage jobs have certainly changed things a lot. A lot of the guys in this video have moved on as a result.

  • schlumberger most biggest bunch of wankers anyone could work for, they treat there staff like shit compared to other service companies. So many dickheads in higher positions trying to justisfy there existence, im glad i dont work there

  • Agree with you 100%.

  • u dont get pay as we do. you have not gone to any school around the world. u wish u worked w us

  • you're right - I've heard the same thing. Also heard that EXXon Mobil, Chevron, and Shell do the same thing. This came from someone on the inside who told me this.

  • @rodders188 their not there. you knucklehead.

but i agree, we are the best fracers but the higher ups suck.

  • There are different types of jobs. I interned in a school project and hours were from 7-4 maybe more maybe less. So its a standard 8 hours a day. Time was very flexible

  • how well was the internship compensation if you mind me asking?

  • I was paid less than other interns because I was a high school junior. I was being paid 15/hour while other interns were being paid like 21/hour

  • The other interns better have been working more than 8 hours a day. This frac job in the video was mega short.

  • I worked open hole wireline for halliburton, i got to do cased hole for a month when they were shorthanded... The frac parties are something else... So much going on and relying on other folks. Too bad for the tough times, hated getting laid off... Now I am in the mining business.

  • This kind of job sucks, you start living for the company and stop living life... You loose your family and friends.. Apply for this job only if you are human being with no social active life at all!!!

  • but you make really good money right?

  • It's not about money, it's about living the only 80 or so years you were granted to live... Just to answer you question, yes I make really good money !!! and I don't have to work like a wetback if you know what I mean.

  • @alfamenosuno

"work like a wet back" ha ha ha that's funny. You know on my rig all the rough necks are white trash hicks so i guess i could say i don't have to work like white trash. hahah i like that one too...

  • @Tonyokay87 ok I've changed my mind, and in gratitude I bow, but always keep in mind I make way more money than you... Yeah I was born with it, it is is a right a few are born with.... Work hard and let these white trash know who has the power.///// I like you... LoL

  • depends what you consider good money

  • I am a Field Engineer and let me tell you all, Real Men Can work in Oil Service companies. We travels and explores the un-imaginable locations in whole world. This is the most toughest job you babysitters cannot survive in service companies.I am proud of all service companies employees.
