WOW. when Kahlil first sang the 'ooh-ooh' in the beginning, i thought his voice sounded a bit weak, but how WRONG i was! This is an amazing new take on an amazing song. did you guys come up with the notes or is there sheet music for this version? i want to sing this song for our school's talent show but the original notes are too low for me, but this version i could do... These kids are so amazingly talented, i wish my choir could capture the same enthusiasm <3

I think all that you've done with this group is lovely :). It's so nice to see young people's talents being brought out of them :).

I'm just wondering, have you ever talked to them about the dangers of stardom? I have no doubt that some of these kids will end up in the limelight at some point in their life, and I think it's very important that they know it's important to stay true to themselves, not giving in to the pressures that will surround them, and I don't just mean drugs and alcohol.

@TheChrissy473 funny enough, at friday's rehearsal we spent half our time together on the subject. i 100% agree with you. we have those kinds of conversations with each new group. it's important they know there is an ugly side to fame.

but there is wisdom to be found in innocence. the kids actually made ms. lisa and me tear up with some of the profound things they had to say about being true to yourself.  these kids' hearts are pure and their music resonates because of that simple fact.
