just a couple of questions. when do you hit the double beat and when you talk about palming after the bass notes are you just refering to strings plucked on the sixth or are fourth and fifth strings included. because when i follow the tutorial with the tabs in front of me i get confused

I meant the bass notes, so any string that the bass note is being played on (6, 5, 4). You got it!

I'd use a pen, pencils can break and scratch stuff. And instead of a rubber band use a hair-tie, the rubber could be harmful to some finishes

just hav quick question wen ur doing the palm hit on the board wat finger do u use to play the bass strings? and how do u do that in one motion?

im like the other video response i can only do the slap on the fretboard i cant do the tapping on the board haha

Hi!

As you pluck the bass string (low E) with your thumb, in one motion pluck and then beat your palm down into the soundboard. It should almost look like a flick of the wrist. So as you pull your thumb inward to pluck the string, your your knuckles move upward and your palm moves down.
