Cornerstone 2009 Flatfoot 56 Pit's Sheer Force

continued.....when all of a sudden the moshers squeezed together towards the center and nearly took the wind out of me. When I realized that the mosher in front of me wasn't going to let me get in front of him, I decided to climb out of the moshpit and watch the rest of the show from the middle of the tent. All I could see was smoke and lights, but at least I didn't suffocate in the pit.

I have a couple of mosh pit stories. My friend Lia was at C-Stone 2007 and was in the middle of a moshpit for Seven System's final show at the Sanctuary Stage. She's only 5'2, so had her friends Dale and Jeff not pulled her out, she might have been trampled. At this year's festival, I was trying to shove my way through the moshpit of Underoath's show at the Gallery Stage to get close enough to take some pictures for my personal C-Stone 2009 photo album. I was roughly 5 feet from the stage....
