@gansterOG1 no there are many types of jiu jitsu, (jiu jitsu) simply means weaponless self defense. there are actually over 700 types of jiu jitsu. bjj being one of them. actually gastao gracie helio's dad had mitsuyo maeda teach carlos gracie helios oldest brother japanese jujutsu. helio was to small and weak to learn the art. so he created a martial art based on leverage. where u didnt have to be big, athletic, or strong. this martial art is called brasilian jiu jitsu.
