@thedarkallies He doesnt dislike them, he just plays them as a last resort. Much like any REAL wargamer. Probably keeps them around for 12 year olds and 23 year old greenpeace hippies

I've been pretty avoidant of ASL so far as even the starter rulebook is supposedly pretty difficult to wade through. Good vid though with a decent explanation of the phases- will see how this series progresses
I fail to see how a ASL grognard would have that many Axis & Allies sets around, since you dislike cheezy designer games.
