My friend cant picture Johnny looking like he did in Edward Sissorhands, she was havin a hard time beleaving he played in this and that cuz he look so different...but at 0:15 you can see thats Edward <3...i love him in this the best he very sexy lookin being all normal an not looking funny.

Maybe wrap tinfoil around her pregnant belly, too, since you can't put tiny tinfoil hats on unborn alien babies. I give the movie 3 stars. Seen similar movies on the SyFy channel with no name actors and they were a little better actually.
i like this ending better... a more ideal ending would have been an earlier confrontation not resulting in the immediate death of anyone so there would be time for an actual open conversation revealing more about the alien's psychology/intentions... but anyway this ending is more what i probably would have opted for were i her (not killing the babies because i don't know who they're going to be... maybe they're not evil). i guess what bothers me is that there was no attempt to understand.

the true ending is that the babies are born and try to take on chuck norris....but it leaves more unanswered questions, but only if you're an idiot, cos even when an alien or two tries to take on the chuck, there's only one outcome....DEATH.
There was nothing left of spencer because everything he was erased by the aliens. The aliens had recorded 'their own message', and when Spencers body died they took over Jillians body and both the alien and the alien twins survived.
I don't get this ending though. What does it say about the twin are they evil or not ?

I like the original ending because you see the alien leave Spencers body and it brings to mind the question that maybe there was some part of her husband left alive inside. It's kind of poetic justice.
for all you who dont understand the movie:the spencer went to pace with the reAL ALEX to fix the sattleite then 2 alliens killed both men and possed their bodies.they came back to earth pretending to be normal but alex died from the strain spencer didnt.those aliens jobs were to get a women pregant so the alien babies could carry on the life of their species.but jill relizes its not spencer any more.spencer was killed.the ending they came up with was jill being killed and posessed by the same
I love this ending. Charlize and Johnny really played this one with way more intensity. It works much better because things were just too cool in the movie version, with all that had gone on.
Then, here, the very ending is so smoothly placed to where there's little doubt the story of these kids could be continued, to carry on the "tradition," where as the theatrical version seems to leave a question mark that doesn't seem quite as creepy.
I prefer the ending that the powers-that-be decided to put in theaters. This one seems to me like the aliens were able to control her actions from within her. This would imply to me that once she gave birth, the aliens would no longer have that ability. That woulda been great for a sequel, but... Yup, definitely prefer the original ending to the alternate one.

Ugh. Both endings suck balls. Saw this movie last night and was HUGELY disappointed. The only thing that kept it amusing was my 9 year old poiting out how much Johnny Depp sounded like ELVIS. She kept saying "Make me a fried peanut butter and banana sandwhich, little mama. Thank you. Thank you verry much". It was the only thing that made watching this crap bareable. That and how hot Johnny is.

Wow I love this ending so much more. I actually have respect for the movie now. I kind of wanted her to be crazy, but I can love this ending too. But are the babies still aliens? They looked human to me... which would be fucking sweet. I didn't get the very end with the stars and the black thing.

I fuuuucking loved this scene. It was really powerful without being over dramatic. I couldn't imagine anyone else in those role apart from Johnny Depp. 'yeh, I did that. And then I fucked his wife' oo that line gives me shivers. I agree, this ending was alot better.

the actuall ending is that she kills him but then the alien that is in his body takes over her. and the babies end up being born they grow up and she remarries a pilot.
