Tom wasnt miming he really was singing but before the show was aired 7th ave put the studio version over it cuz they wanted to it sound better they do it wie most bands that perform on it. so the instruments are all live and tom did sing live but 7th ave edited it before it was aired and this video is the result of that so dont dis tom dis 7th ave

Turn music down, sing with the music. Record. At the end listen to both records and compare. Chances are you sound way better with the volume down than you did when you couldn't hear. LOL

I like this song a lot but the vocals don't sound live. There's way too much auto-tune. I'd rather hear some natural imperfections than vocals being fed through a computer before they reach the audience. There's no room for auto-tune in live rock and roll.

I think it's a live recording..but what theyve done is took the raw audio and mastered it,applied vocal effects using helicon Voicepro,which is the pitch correction Tom delonge uses in the studio i believe.

Everything they play on this version instrumentally is in time if you take note..

I prefer this version rather than the two seperate tracks.

They sound a lot better merged..

the recording is live, but they have removed the audio from the concert and added a studio version in the video to make it fit.

because live sound recordings doesnt always sound as good as the recording they do in the studio:) so since their visual performance is good, but the music doesnt sound as good, they clip out the audio from the recording and add the audio from the studio version.

this all results in a good quality DvD of the show:)
