... more like played too fast. I love Metallica and what they've accomplished and still accomplished their careers; but you can really tell they struggle when they have to up the pace of their songs to stop people dwelling on the flaws and fuck-ups. Shame, but still a powerful band and they certainly beat many contempory acts in terms of endurance.

I think the reason for the inaudible double bass is the loud bass from metallica. In the early day's Lars plays a drumset with a higher bassdrum tone.

So maybe thats the reasons why you can hear it better on the Seattle show.
