FMA is better than the original manga series I thought (FMA Brotherhood Storyline). The characters have more of a heart felt development where nothing is rushed. Moreover its less shounen-ish, leaving us with a bittersweet ending which is what differentiates anime from cartoons.

The english title of this is 'Reminiscence'.

It reminds me of the Nina/Shou Tucker episodes in the very beginning of the anime.
