Listen up, that Line 6 is a far cry from the tone monsters that you are trying to emulate. I have a Mesa similar to the one you previewed and it does not sound like that- Nice try but sorry, one size does not fit all-  Put a line 6 Emulation up against the real thing- you would be startled at the difference.

Actually, you can acheive some pretty great tones with a Line 6. Do they sound EXACT? but why sound like everyone else out there who plays the same amps? why not create YOUR staple sound. Really the big difference is that with a line 6 you can't capture the warmness of tubes, all in all they aren't trash by any stretch of the imagination if you know how to dial it in right (it takes a while to learn your way around a vetta)

Line6 blows, I just returned mine after a week. I couldn't stand it. Unless you are going for that ultra modern or heavy metal sound, that is the only thing it is somewhat useful for. It still sounds like dooky though. Spend some money and get a tube, trust me, you will want to play more and you will sound a lot better doing it.

I've got a relatively cheap Marshall AVT 150HX and it's brilliant. I use it for all my gigs. I'm thinking of moving onto a Hughes and kettner switchbade purely because theres a wee bit more prescence and the effects are programmable which will (in theory) save me a fortune in stomp boxes.
