i have an 05 5.4 and just replaced the powersteering pump myself (which was a pain in the ass by the way). We got hammered with snow in the philly area last year and i was driving in it alot. It blew out the front seal and it made a mess in the engine bay.

no. the tires are 13.5 inches wide. U shoud get at least a 9" wide tire, but it's better if you get a 10"

I wouldn't go to a 35" tire with anything less than a 6" lift. I run 33x12.5r18 Toyo M/T's on 18x9 wheels on my '07 with leveling kit. Tried the 35's but they would rub and hit especially when you are bouncing in mud and on trails.

I agree. You basically need enough power to spin tires to clean them as you go. My point to the previous poster was more just to point out that he didn't know what he was talking about, even with his own vehicle. I think lift is important though. If you are in some deeper mud your truck will bottom out and get stuck.

it doesnt matter how much hp you have if your in mud, i have a ford exploder thats a v6 and no lift and bfg mud rovers and makes it through the pit just as fast, the only thing that matters is lockers and what your type of mud your in.
