I'm a huge fan of Mike as a boxer. That being said, it doesn't matter what time a woman goes to your hotel room. If she says stop at any point, you stop. Mike called her up out of the blue in the middle of the night, that doesn't sound like anyone set him up. It's also a weak argument to say a famous boxer doesn't need to rape a woman. Famous boxers don't need to bite people's ears off, either. Anyone famous is capable of doing crazy shit.

I kinda like this movie and liked it more when I was younger and it first came out. Now, this movie is watchable but fails in comparison to actual Tyson footage and especially the recent documentary film TYSON which was much better than this and of course more accurate.

@fukgloryzz This movie was put together by HBO to blackmail Tyson. He was coming out of prison and sold the rights to his boxing matches to Showtime. HBO put this movie together and intentionally tried to make Tyson look like a scumbag. They told him that if he boxed on HBO, this movie wouldn't see the light of day. I'm guessing it's full of inaccuracies.

I know there is some dirty tactics among the corrupt tv networks, so I can picture them trying to pull that shit on Iron Mike. I was a big Tyson fan since being a kid in the 80's and still am a fan. I think he really got screwed in his conviction. I would get crazy and angry and do wild shit too after serving time like he did if I was falsely imprisoned. Sad that a jury believes any lying bitch.

@fukgloryzz I tend to believe him too, and I've also watched his documentary from 2008. I think it's a Kobe situation--consensual at first, but she wasn't happy with the end result and changed her mind. I think one of the things I'd seen said she also wanted money to drop the charges. Mike's lawyer tried to file an appeal to bring that info out, but they wouldn't let him.

It really ruined his life--she turned out to be another person he couldn't trust. I'd be mad at the world too.
