  • WAS IN ASHEVILLE THIS WEEKEND LOVED IT it was my wifes and i 21 wedding annv. we went to the house and walked the town and had a great time and the snow was nice also.

cant wait to go back in the springtime to see all the plants in full bloom!!

  • i live 30 minites from this place called biltmore house... and ive never seen it in person ..i might consider going there if i could get someone to buy an admission ticket of $50.00 to look at my Jackass in my pasture...but till then i could care less ...

  • i went there about 2 years ago,my family is going back this summer.

  • Love this place.

  • i went there 2day and i swear, its the biggest house i've ever seen.

  • Amazing, House. ^^ I have been there quite a few times, and it still mesmerizes me.

  • cool house ive been there

  • it the most magnificent place ive ever bean ide give anything to go and live there with my friends and family and hamster its so maraculouse

  • @caleb811197 agreed. it is privately owned still. i wish hteyd open it up as a B&B maybe a couple weeks per year, id pay anythign to spend a few days there.

  • That is the creepiest version of that song possible.

  • this castle is of French Renaissance style

  • I've been here also and I can tell you I think it would be a blast to stay there at night. It is so big you can lose yourself in all of the halls that this place has. Truly remarkable to see though.

  • probably 'cause no employee was there.

  • You need to check out Christmas Candlelight evenings. Its wonderful. They bring in a 35ft. tree into the banquet hall and fully decorate it.Stayed at the Inn on biltmore many times. The food at the Deerpark and Bistro is so good. Also try to check out the behind the scenes tours, you get to go up in the organ loft, subbasement, rooftop etc. I did a special tour once where I got to see the den behind the library.

  • @tnchaptnchap i have too. ive lsitened to this music in a low level while on the long tours. it fits it perfectly. americas largest privately owned home.

  • i went there:P

  • who would want to live there?! its way TOO big. and scary..

  • Yeah it is really big. I have always wondered if people went days at a time not seeing each other because the house is so big? All the times I have been, I have never really heard them say if there is any ghost stories or experiences. I am a 28 year old guy who works in a funeral home and is use to death and quiet places but, I don't think I would want to be in a house that big by myself, espically at night!

  • im taking vac. to asheville next month. our chalet is 20 mins from biltmore house woot

  • Yes it is true. no cameras allowed I am from Niagara falls Ontario Can and went here in May o7 via car...and I could only do outside pics.. but is nice to see the inside again...

  • Photography is not allowed in biltmore house.

  • @hwe0001 very true. IF they know about it ;)

  • My Aunt and Uncle live in Biltmore Forest

  • Wow! So elegant.

  • Use to live in Asheville years ago. One of my wife's friends father was the electrician for the house. He would travel all over to find wireing that would match the period (course he would then make it safe before using). We would get free passes from them every so often. The kids just loved it. Wonder if he's still around, haven't been in a few years.

  • o ya if u ever go there u can get a headphone thing and press a number and it tells you a bout that room! its so cool

  • i love that place!

  • WOW when i went there i took that exact same picture!!! at 3:46 =D

  • three movies had parts of Biltmore in it. The tour guide told my class that.

  • richie rich is one of em

  • Wiki says more

  • Hannibal was filmed here; they used some interior shots and the scene where the guy is being eaten by pigs was filmed in a nearby barn.

  • The mansion was also in a movie called " All of Me", with Peter Sellers. Good movie!

  • It was also used for the movie "Richie Rich".

  • @BravoSPOOKY Capitalist swine!

  • @SuperMagnumpi I think you mean "Being There".

  • @dartagnan926 You are correct! Im not sure what I was thinking, because i knew it was from "being There"! Thank you for correcting me.

  • I went there today. It's awesome!!!

  • Biltmore still is , and probably always will be , the largest and most beautiful mansion ever built in the Western Hemisphere. Great job Richard Morrison Hunt!

  • @manly427 was it richard morrison hunt, or richard morris hunt?, either way the man was/is/always will be a genius

  • I grew up In Asheville, North Caorlina, and I have been to the Biltmore house many, many times. The house and estate are absolutely spectacular. Though, I don't live in North Carolina anymore, I sure would like to visit the Biltmore house once more.

  • I love this place, I wish other millionares had built more just like them in the area. It'd be like a Loire Valley here in America!

  • Beautiful video and music. The Biltmore Estate is one of my favorite places to visit. I am amazed each and every time I see it.

  • It is the VERSAILLIES of the Americas!

  • I have lived 20 miles away from that for 10 years and hae never been there

  • It's a variation on Pacbells cannon in D. Not sure if I spelled the name correctly.

  • i've been there. its fucking amazingg.!

  • Does anyone know what this song is?
