  • Victor Mutha Fuckin Steiner Mutha Fuckin Davion!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 15:20- Never thought Katherine started so early...

  • 13:19- wow, prophetic much?

  • Lets all not forget that the FedComs are using Maulers, a Combine Mech that wasn't developed till late 3050.

  • For how much I like seeing Victor Steiner-Davion and Galen Cox I feel it must be pointed out:

    1) Galen was a big supporter of working with other IS powers, not an anti-Drac like shown here. Also he was blond.

    2) Victor was a komandant at this point, not a major.

    3) Victor piloted a VTR-9B Victor on Trellwan, which has jump jets.

    4) Galen piloted a Crusader, not a Centurion, neither of which are jump capable.

Aside from that the depiction of Trellwan was pretty accurate.

  • @GhostBear3067 i noticed the show makers must have a passion for using light and medium mechs

  • @Buemmo

And yet the Draconis Combine does not field a single Panther or Jenner, two of their most iconic light mechs. Oh well, blame it on the animation budget I guess...

  • @GhostBear3067 yeah i think you´re right ....or they didnt want our clan jade falcon mechs to get owned so early... panther owns everything

  • @Buemmo Who wouldn't? All I ever use are the Crab (medium) and 'Dasher' (Light) and can take on 3 lances without even breaking a sweat.

  • @GhostBear3067 1) Kommandant is the equivalent of Major in House Steiner.

    2) There are a couple of configurations of the Centurion that ARE jump capable.

  • @SulliMike241

Point, I forgot the rank equivalances. Others have already brought the error of my Centurion coments as well. I am not so proud as to deny my mistakes.

  • @GhostBear3067 You show your trueborn blood by not using contractions. Khan Felix Pryde is pleased

  • @Battletechfreak

Portuguese is my first language, it has no contractions so they do not come naturally. Also, since I once counted myself as ELH I count myself as a freeborn Abtakha of Clan Ghost Bear, what do I care what a Jade Falcon Khan has to say. I do appreciate the compliment though.

  • @GhostBear3067 although Pryde is famous as a Jade Falcon khan name, it is here referred to as the sakhan of the unofficial sect clan ice demons, who are embedded secretly in the clan Ice Hellions, whose job is to cordinate with the diamond sharks to keep the clans in line.(as set down by Kerensky himself)

  • @GhostBear3067 Although not considering yourself a Jade Falcon, all Clan members, whatever Clan they belong to, respect all Khans and SaKhans from each of the Clans. So while you might be a Ghost Bear, you should not insult a Khan of Clan Jade Falcon so freely.

  • Why is the Archon who has literally millions of soldiers and tens of thousands of 'Mechs involved in supplying a large lance like the Strikers?

  • How convenient, a hole sized board for a hole in the wall.

  • Um...if you have jumpjets and drop ships the point of a bridge would be...?

  • @HachiZenki

    1) Not all "Mechs have jumpjets...

    2) There are other vehicles in use in the BattleTech universe (cars, trains, even horses)

    3) Jump Jets have a high heat cost

  • Wait, horses? Where? When?

  • In the universe, yes. In the TV show, no

    ---

The Periphery worlds often rely on work animals to harvest crops. I've also seen them in use in at least one of the BattleTech books in combat.

  • @ajferet So have I, except only in the Legend of the Jade Phoenix trilogy by Robert Thurston, which were used by Bandit castes mostly.

But mostly, when it comes to harvest and crops, Agro and Industrial 'Mechs are used more than anything else.

  • @gribae

For the use of the horses in combat, it was "Star Lord"

  • @HachiZenki

The point of a bridge would be that you can't just land a Dropship ANYWHERE when you are on a campaign. There are enemy camps, towers, guns that would shoot you down.

Try reading up on military warfare through the ages before commenting. It could save you further embarassment in the future.

  • Holy shit Victor's white.

  • so what? Kathrina Steiner and Victor Davion, his parents were.

  • @Intrafacial86

Holy shit... you're a fucking idiot!

  • Long Live Victor Steiner-Davion!

  • @77shadowknight Long Live House Davion!

  • victor seems ... young. LIKE REALLY YOUNG. 15 to 17 ish. compared to his cousin, the major, who seems to be mid 20s.

  • There is no rule saying that cousins have to be the same age, yet the animation errs this from the books also (another notch), that Victor was in his early 20s when the Clans first invaded.

  • well i guess so. Im in my early 20s and I kinda still look 17 (iM TOLD IM SUPPOSED TO BE FLATTERED WHEN IM ASKED FOR MY ID IN BARS. means.s your still young looking )

  • I have the same problem still, and I am almost 30. Flattery or not, it does tick me off - just get me my darn vodka, you little runt!

  • isn't Victor kind of a dwarf (sp?) like Gimli from Lord of the Rings? Well, I hope that I will finally see a Daishi in this episode, even if it's only Victors.

  • Daaaaamn. Mr. Sakamoto (did I spell that right?) is like an even more badass Mr. Sulu.

No, better yet, he's like a combination of Mr. Sulu and Han Solo. Yeah, that's it, he's Han Sulu!

  • Wow, you're right, lol!

  • han sulu ... wow it fits!

  • I want mechwarrior 5

  • On it's way right now!

  • Wonders How many commenting on these Vids Actually know What Battletech is all about lol

  • This was so cheesy and lame, but in its own way it was totally awesome. Same as Conan really, not afraid to poke fun at itself.

  • those powered armour suits kick ass

  • Elemental suits would kick more ass if the show would show off more use of their claws that supposedly can rip battle armor straight off of a battlemech.

  • They really showed off the zero-g animation in this episode.

  • all steiners in this show wear that retarded outfit.

  • victors a G man, davion woot

  • First off, in Lethal Heritage; Victor's mech was a Victor, not a Mauler, and Cox piloted a Crusader, not a Centurion. And they did get Galen Cox's hair colour wrong too.

  • I was thinking the same. I mean it's really freaking hard to screw up what Victor's original mech was before he moved on to his Dire Wolf, Prometheus.

  • Well you have to consider the time and effort it would take to make new models for the enhanced vision mode.

  • Not as hard as it may seem. Though I say this from the perspective of someone whose been taught in making 3D models, but I catch your drift. Though I must admit I like the blocky-ness of alot of the Inner Sphere designs as it is fairly easy to make them

  • i dont like how they portrayed the Clan's in this, but its almost hummores to watch

  • i get what you mean. iv always liked the clans esspecialy clan wolf. this seris makes them seem...i dont know but its not what i expected

  • I don't really mind much about Clan Wolf, they're the writers poster boys in CBT.

It's a kids (preteen) saterday morning cartoon. It's not going to adhere to the Battletech fluff.

  • its his steiner symbol

  • is it me or does a rip that looks like a sun keep appearing then dissappearing from his left shoulder?

  • Ive been looking for these everywhere :)

  • That was after. He won it after Kai Allard Liao gave it up for Yen lo Wang.

  • You are correct, they are in the wrong mechs in the cartoon.

Plus I imagined Galen to be a bit older and less apprehensive about working with Dracs.

  • I'm not sure but I think they even got Galen's hair color wrong. I think the reference was in the novel Lethal Heritage.

  • though i read all the books and still play the games i find this 2 anime for me 2 like

  • i about cried when i saw this...i watched this whn i was 10!!!

  • Is that supposed to be a loki chasing Victor and Galen into the cave? The Loki doesn't mount jump jets. Or is that supposed to be a Thor?

  • Depends on what books you read, I have read some where Victor pilots a Zeus.

  • for me, it's either the wolfhound or the victor, customize the gear and watch me go. I had a wolfhound that could drop an atlas once, granted the wolfhound would often be either horribly damaged or destroyed after the atlas went down, but hey, ends justify the means.

  • Wolf hound versus Atlas.

    Well bid and done!

  • wolfhound wins, then 'splodes

    lol

  • notice how low-quality the animations were... and the limited number of mechs they drew. no way they're gonna animate a victor when they can just reuse a centurion

and anytime you see a centurion in this cartoon you can probably be sure it's gonna get blown up, hahaha

  • Maybe they got those later?

  • Lol. Apparently all Draconis citizens are ninjas.

  • They follow the ways of the Samurai. Calling them Ninjas would be an insult to them... :-P

  • Mmmm Melissa Steiner is so fine chick :)

  • So is that Draconis Doctor ;)

  • Yeah but lady Archont is: blonde, powerfull and have so fine daughter!

  • Which one are you referring to? Katherine or Yvonne?
