Nope; I noticed the similarities of the designs and I asked him some time ago (actually the same time as I made the Origami Boba Fett video) and he said it was ok. Similar designs happen all the time.
Fold up to 0:30 in the video, adding an additional (from left edge to center crease) fold on the left. Cut on each of the 3 creases to get 4 rectangles of the right size.
What does 1:4 mean? 1 what, by 4 what? Centimeters? Decimeters?
