@Dan TheHedgehog: Hi Dan, with the PSP 2000 it has more ram than the 1000 and many homebrew creators take advantage of that extra ram for speed boosts in their emulators. All emulators that started on the 1000 work on the slim 2000 and you can also output emulators to your tv with the slim. Therefore your best bet would be to go with a psp slim bro. one thing to be careful of is newer 2000 slims(and 3000s) come with a motherboard that blocks the pandora method of flashing cfw.
@ElMofo2 The sound is pretty solid with Snes9xtyl on some games you wont to lower the bitrate of the sound to avoid lag. 99% of the snes library works perfectly on this emulator. High paced games like Street Fighter and Megaman dont really run well but there are a lot of alternatives like ps1 and gameboy advance versions. If you have not modded your PSP yet you should really look into it. the PSP is the best console I have ever owned because of its flexibility.

Well in Super Mario RPG, the game kinda goes in slow motion for like a mili-second when Mario lands an attack so there are minor bugs but it works good enough to enjoy the game. This thing can even emulate PS1 games.
Super Mario RPG was the key reason for my trying this out and I had a similar issue... only worse. Of course, this was about 2 years ago. Maybe its time to try again...

me too, i don´t like too much the psp games, mainly because if keeping them in a memory stick, and they´re too heavy, more than 500mb, so when there´s like 400mb i put an emulator and HUNDREDS of games.

I had that same emulator (psp fat 3.80m33-5) with snes games in it, but i downloaded this one game that just corrupted that emulator. Now each time i start it, my psp just turns off, so deleted it and re-downloaded it and still doesn't work!! WTF!!!??

Ohh yeah, by the way, some games that are game boy emulators on my psp dont load ,the load screen freezes up and i have to actualy remove the battery to shut the system down. Did the person install a bad emulator or just some games are that way and dont save. IT SUCKED ASS, WHEN I SPENT 4 HOURS STRAIGHT PLAYING FF6 THEN SAVED AND WHEN CAME BACK, IT DID NOT SAVE. MY PSP WAS ALMOST OUT THE WINDOW.

Over 4 hrs? Lmao. Ok...don't try playing resident evil 2 without savings. (this was back on my N64). Played through the ENTIRE game, was at the last boss...never saved once. We had a damn BROWN OUT. Not a black out...a brown out. Was just enough power loss to shut off my N64.
Out of respect for the people in the house I sat the controller down and took a VERY long walk.

I have a question. Please help. I had someone install snes emulator on my psp and had like 87 games put on it. Most of the games play fine, but some like donkey kong are slow, and the rpg games like final fantasy advanced play fine and when i save the game and turn it off, it does not take me back to my last save point, it basically returns me to the first time i saved the game. does anyone know what this issue is or have any knowdledge how to fix, or alike. Send advice please. Thanks.
