Haven't lost one iota of the experience? Well yes as it turns out, they lost the experience of winning! Forum was one place the Habs were unbeatable at. Not so for the Molson/Bell Centre, especially come playoff time. Habs never had a losing record at the Forum in a season from the time Maurice Richard strapped on his skates with them to the time they moved out. Some 55 straight seasons or so.
you're right, the Habs and the NEW YORK YANKEES Stand above all other north american sports teams but at present the Habs are in a MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP SLUMP ! I hope they can do it in 2010,whoever the new owners are they ahd better rebuild the organization and the gm and scouting staff PRONTO !
Yankees freaking overpay for their players, always have. that's the way the steinbrenners run things here in the states and that's why they get no respect. Unlike the Yankees, the Habs still command respect in their sport and throughout the world. their run as a #8 in 2010 captivated the sport and the imaginations of everyone in Canada because it's the Habs.
lol man i miss the old cbc sports intro and our old hockey night in canada theme song

I do agree that the Bell Centre is the most electrifying building in the NHL.
Other fans of other teams won't admit that but it is. It's the loudest building in the league.
Plus the sightlines for viewing the game are GREAT.
