Just gotta say, about the only move worse than Sand Attack is Mud Slap, cause it does damage AND decreases accuracy. So annoying... But I'm not a fan of stat-changing moves anyway.
21:10 The "It's not fair!" comment reminds me of the one and only link battle I had playing Pokemon Silver. My Suicune (only after I remembered that water moves were super-effective against Fire Pokemon), KOed his lead, then I proceeded to sweep the rest of his team with my Tyranitar.
He called it unfair, but he challenged me with a lvl 65 Typhlosion, a lvl 72 Ho-oh, and four assorted lvl 30s while my while team (and I warned him) was lvl 80 - 78. I call it him choosing his battles carelessly.
Heracross was my favorite bug pokemon, until 5th gen when I got Joltik/Galvantula, I love their moves and designs(blue and yellow are my favorite colors, which helped too) and they reminded me of webspider from MMX4, especially with their awesome move electroweb.
This is why I love Stadium 2. Earl's Pokemon Academy was not only fun but very helpful teaching people the basics along with some interesting tactics and combinations. That's what makes it awesome.
@TheLostSabre Yes and it does double damage. I think Gen 2 introduced the idea that if a Pokemon was underground or in the air, moves such as Earthquake, Twister and Thunder would dish serious damage to the opponent.
Why are you using a Speed dampening move like Scary Face when using Aerodactyl? It's already one of the fastest Pokemon in the universe

You...do realize that it's supposed to be a turn waster to set up Fly, right?
Further, you do realize that these Pokémon are specifically generated for the quizzes?

@MageKnight404 I've never played this game before, I'm just going off my knowledge from the other Pokemon games.

You know, the solar beam looked like it should be able to hit aerodactyl, as it aimed up.

What's really funny here is that solarbeam aims upwards when the opponent flies and yet it misses anyway!

Oh god...that drill poke comment just made me think of Guren Lagenn. "MY DRILL WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS!" Aside from that...Great vid!

Heracross learns Brick Break right?
That's a nice fighting move.

And that is the problem with the Kamehameha that Goku himself couldn't fix. Charge it up for too long and it will NEVER hit.

correct me if I'm wrong but is your Heracross's nickname is Welkin?

You are correct.

I love Murkrow! To show everyone that Murkrow are in fact NOT useless in their debut generation, Murkrow is my flyer for my main team in Crystal.

No, it isn't Gen 3, but you said it gets it in Gen 4 instead of Gen 3 when it first can learn brick break.

...Did I? I could've sworn I said Gen 3 in the video.

Heracross also learns Reversal. Went with a moveset I used for Heracross. Megahorn, Reversal, Earthquake and Endure and gave it a miracle berry.

TheLostSabre 3 months ago
@TheLostSabre That happens in later generations not in Gen 2.
MegamanNG 3 months ago
No, that is right. Earthquake is able to strike underground Pokémon in this generation.
MageKnight404 3 months ago
@MageKnight404 Really? Ouch. Then that means moves like Earthquake can deal double damage to people that are either underground or in the air.
MegamanNG 3 months ago
?
Really? I remember learning about by the time PT2 came out. At least I learned that Thunder or Thunderbolt still hit Pokemon that uses Fly...
