I made a better version of this its got a magnet, clip, sticky dots (like gecko over the magnet), and a suction cup. Ill upload it soon, its very small, the size of gecko. (has hangy thing for finger grip) Its thicker though its got the suction cup with magnet on back suction cup has a wire piece that has hook at end, so the clip is facing out the hook goes through and it attatches to string/elastic in the center of the clip.

Hmmm... Hand movements are too big, they'll get smaller with time. that said, the vid was made just over 2 years ago so u should be better by then :)

Im not criticizing because this is challenging to master but the hand motions afterward are a little over emphasized. I made my own but I may buy the actual thing. Is it worth it?

Couple things people should know...The gecko does make a clicking sound when you retract the item. About as loud as a small snap of the fingers. Another thing...Notice how everyone that does the trick is wearing a jacket. Think of those ID things that stretch out and retract the cord. Thats THE gimmic. You can see the kid's error at around 0:14 when the can is pulled into his jacket. Personally I think you should invest in yigal misuka, Tarantula. If you haven't already seen it look it up.

@TheMagicofCurtis Hmmm; I saw it and it looked pretty flawless but from the looks of it he couldn't manage to vanish anything larger than a coin. A set back in my mind but non the less amazing in the way it works.

@Mike21Hawk actually if you've looked around you can do much more than that with tko... the device gives you the capability to clean up any effect in which you would start or end dirty. No palming cards from your pocket to place on top the deck anymore, also you can vanish a cell phone or a deck of cards in it...... so it has more applications than you realized, maybe you should look into it, I'm getting one soon :-)

this isn't actually the gecko,although quite similar..the gecko is more or a novelty item,it's quite expensive with the accessories so just make sure that you're really going to use it

ya i agree to DEFINATELY go with MAV cuz you can make the things reappear and u dont have to refill anything AND its olny 20 bucks vs like 65 bucks... dont waste the money on gecko... but i have to say pretty cool vid... but you wasted ur money unfortunately....

okay so if u vanish something from a spectator and its like there cell phone how do u get it back cuz i havent seen one vid where the performer makes it reappear. thats a con about this item. ya u can vanish it quicker than shit but how do u get it back to the spectator after borrowing it???

I think you can reappear the thing you borrow from spectactor with the MAV, and its much cheaper than the gecko, costs only 20$

every video i've seen so far of this gecko gimmick, has a song playing in the background instead of the actual sound of the video. im wondering if this gecko gimmick (obviously its a reel or a pull) is loud as hell, or can at least be heard.
