@Mamoribito1 It's a mistranslation of "Ahriman". He's playing the fan-translated SNES version of FFIV by J2e, who I guess used the same incorrect romanization of "Allemagne" that Square used for the same enemy in FFVII. I think it's corrected in every other version, but it's still kinda funny.

In the DS version those Puffs Puffs will Berserk everyone except Cecil if Cecil is wearing the armor. They are tough to defeat. The rare drop for the Puff Puffs is I think 0.04%

Don't worry NCS, I had to grind for three days straight, using 350 alarms just to finally get one pink tail.....I would have nearly died on the spot if you got one your first try.

@NeverEnoughCoal It is by far the strongest armor in the game. It pretty much makes anyone, even Gilbert/Edward, invincible to most regular enemies. However, getting it requires you grind sirens off of the watcher/searcher enemies from the Tower of Babil by having edge steal and everyone else defend for a while (auto battle helps if applicable). You'll want to steal about 2000-3000 in the SNES version, since you cant ever go back to the areas with those enemies...(continued)

After that, you'll need to head to the "Red Fang" room in the Lunar Subterrain, and continue using sirens to encounter the Pink Puffs/Flan Princesses. There is a 1/64, 0.01, or 1% chance of getting a pink tail, meaning that technically, you need 100 sirens for every tail, but to be safe, assume 200-250 sirens are needed per tail...(continued)

@NeverEnoughCoal And that is my very, very, VERY long-winded explanation of the pink tail/adamant armor process. So, to answer your original question: It is entirely up to you. Many FFIV players strive for this legendary armor, but it takes much preparation and patience. If you think you are up to the challenge, the reward is greatly worth all the time put into it, but if not, don't worry about it. Most people give up quickly if their heart's not into it...(sorry for so many posts btw :P)

I never succeded getting the pink tail :3 but in the end I didn't need it for the final boss anyway since Rydia was at level 57. In the GBA version of the game you can refight the Pink Puffs if one would use the suspend save funvction in the room, next mob encountered in the room after staring again is always pink puffs. :3

If I was you I would go use all the money you have and spend it on cure2 items, life items and magic point restoring items. It will save you alot of magic on Rosa and let you get Rydia's magic back when you need it and with all the bosses coming up you need it

tip: the ribbon gear prevents berserk status so when you get them give them to rydia and rosa since melee offencive is useless to them. pink tale is dropped by pink puffs, they can take 2+ bahamuts castings to kill.
