The opening of this video is brilliant (can't remember if this is a Herb Ritts or Bruce Weber joint; I think the latter...looks like his film stock); at a time when homoeroticism - and male nudity - was still a "dicey" project, esp, in videos (1990-91), this circumvents the conventions but stays cleverly chaste: you're so busy trying either to read the text or see the naked man that you never really grasp a full on appreciation of either. Very evocative and smart.
