I actually WAS present at the copyparty in Holland when this MegaDemo was released for the very first time. In other words i was one of the people that saw it for the very first time, Live during a demo competition !

And yes, it blew the competition away ... Hands down !!

The impact it had on us was just simply mindblowing.

The most impressive demo(part) EVER made in Amiga History !

The "Wasteland" tune on the vectorballs part is probably my all-time favourite demoscene tune.

Indeed ! Simply the best tune made, especially since it compliments the demo it was made for.

The demo wouldn't have had the same impact if it wasn't for this great tune.

There a couple of hidden parts to the megademo if I remember correctly - the vectorball guy can have a visit from his gf and it gets a little x-rated.. don't recall how to bring that up though.. bound to be documentated online somewhere.

Correct, the hidden XXX part was activated by pressing the joystick (in port 2)button at the right time during the course of the vector balls demo.

You ended up pressing the button during the entire demo so you would always hit it when it was needed.

The Red Sector megademo was so the best thing ever when it was released in 1989. And the vectorballs part was the best of all. Classic music too!
