  • what happens to the eggs? isnt that what a period is for? getting rid of old eggs? i see a bit of a flaw in this...

  • @happylizard08 The body absorbs them. A period is not needed to get rid of the egg, which is insignificant compared to the uterine lining that needs to be expelled.

  • I'm not an OBGYN, but this does not look like a tubal ligation (i.e. cutting and tying-off the fallopian tubes).

    Instead, it appears to be a procedure where they are plicating the round ligament of the uterus.
