Flair plasticine. My early animations used a different make that ultimately went rock solid. I've used Flair for over a year now and I've had no problems.

The only character not made of Flair is Neon, who's made out of Claytoon plasticine.

How did you get the AOSTH music without the voices?

A technique I call splicing that has previously been used to obtain Thomas & Friends music. When a song appears in an episode, record it and cut out the parts where people are talking. Continue doing this with as many episodes as possible, arrange all the clips, and you may just have a version of the song that can be listened to without people talking over it.
