This is actually pretty interesting I am a future Kendo student but I think this electronic Bogu would totally go against what Kendo is. Last time I checked in sparring Kendo is not just about how many hits you get it is about the "spirit" of the attack and if you manage to disrupt your opponents concentration with a strike. I feel like with this electronic Bogu it would make people more focused on just trying to get a hit and make them forget the rest of what is more important.

this video is incredibly offended! It offends 2000 years of Japanese history and all the people like me who are decades who believes that kendo is a spiritual discipline and not commercialization!
