I did some research on the film and I was shocked at how the critics here in america just down talked to movie. Saying the film copied the sword in the stone and others. And the animation sucked, blah blah. And I'm like "what? OH COME ON!". Cant anyone just enjoy a good movie? And then I found out about the deleted scenes that the stupid weinstein company cut. I dont care what "critics" say. I LOVE this movie. Its no worse then the kids movies AND shows they have out now. thanks for this <3

I saw the movie on Mexico, and love it with my daughters. Then googled to see the critics and was shocked at the bad receptions. It seemed they had saw a different movie, so I emailed to some critics, and found, in a sense.. they saw a different movie. After talking to some fans found which were the deleted scenes , commented in the wikipedia and made this channel

Why'd they have to cut out all the important scenes because I was confused when I first saw this part. They just randomly have a rope to tie to the sword and Arthur shouts "Selenia" for no apparent reason in the one I saw. It's like ?? and it's probably the same in the other 2 movies huh?

This scene was hilarious! I'm disappointed that they deleted it. Whoever did this was an idiot. "He" took the movie, cut the really good scenes, and depended on famous people to sell the movie. I'm lucky to have the french version of the movie with no deleted scenes. :)

There are two version, the US version, distribuited by the Weinstein company, and the International versions , by Europacorp.

The international versions, ussually have the local language and the full english version.

This scenes are from the mexican edition of the DVD.

Yes, for the english release, it was Maddona... and that started all the problems...

The distribuitor found inapropiate a love story with a children and a girl with Madonnas voice. So a lot of scene were erased.

In French the voice is by Myllene Farmer, she is much sexier than Maddona....

technically she's not 10, she's almost 1000, and you can see that she doesn't have the body of a ten year old either, so its understandable that this scene was cut. However it makes no sence that the other scenes were cut.

When i watched the movie in Cinema(in Bulgaria) some of the deleted scenes were present and others... were deleted. Why have they deleted them? There was nothing wrong to be seen by the younglings there.

It also includes the entire "English" version uncut. Now none of the bonus features will work since they were recorded in Pal. another bonus is that the American version was never released in Blu-Ray so that's a plus

The region 4 video, distribuited in Mexico is NTSC... (For a strange reasons, Mexico and Australia are region 4...)

Also, a lot of DVD players can handle PAL withouht much problem (at least mine does...), since DVD are digital. Or if you have problem with that, try reproducing in a computer.

Fortunately, the BLue ray version is distribuited by Europacorp !!!!

Its not like actually see Selene breast. and without I was wondering why she was holding her breast and climbing one-handed. many scenes made less sense due to cuts think I have a way to get a copy with all scenes intact if it pans out I'll post here how

In the book, it comments that since she is only ten.. there is actually nothing to see.. but it is a matter of protocol. Princesses do not go topless (at least minimoys princeses) and Selenia is very strict with the protocol.

Yes all the international DVD, have the FULL english version, with Maddona et al , and the local version.

For example, the Mexican DVD (from where i took these scenes) has the mexican spanish version , along the English version. and the making of documental.

You just need to check it is a version distribuited by Europacorp and not by Weinstein.

I think Besson should do the same thing that did the japanese, when they sent the "mononoke princess" to the Weinsteins..  They sent a spendid Samurari sword as a gift (or threat?) with just a simple note that said: "NO CUTS"

They cut it in the US and UK version (both were distributed by Weinstein) but all other european dvd's have an Enhlish version as standard with local budding track as optional, so just buy a french/Spanish/German version if you wanna see the whole thing).

If they cut the next two films I'm gonna be pissed if I have to wait for the DVD to see the entire thing. :(

What everybody should do is order another version even if you dont understand the language then you just go to settings and change to english. After writing to some of them i found most of them did not care they saw a diferent version. They insists still is a bad film...
