When you send so many packets your own router is unable to handle it. You have bandwidth overload and can't connect to a webpage.

@michal1337 Oh no, I never said that. I'm saying 99% of the supposed hackers are just 'DoS artist' script kiddies pretending to be superior hackers... When in reality they start some script, enter an IP and run it. (LOIC, HOIC, RefRef)

Hell, just look at the video... Some epic opening, start music, then "Let the bodies hit the floor". Video implies someone is getting owned, what's really happening is some nerd started a script that was supposedly made by Anonymous (which it also wasn't).

@Palmer640 That's the thing- RefRef isn't like LOIC where it just sends packets constantly, it uses a fault in SQL to place the javascript file in the temporary folder, and this sends the packets over the networks LAN. So you just send a few packets, and it does the rest. At least to my understanding.

sorry for my bad english :) To use RefRef u have to find a wensite with a potentialy SQL injectio breach like "php?id=".

First : To launch .pl extention, u have to download ActivPerl !

Copy/past the code in a txt file and rename it to refref.pl

U can also launch many cmd windows with refref and flood the website with attack. :)
