i'm confused. HBMS dropped this in 2004 on "White People", then Jack Johnson released In Between Dreams in 2005. I always called the HBMS version the original?

i think jack johnson had already recorded this song (and maybe put it out as a single) when hbms got a hold of it. They finished their album before jack, so it was first seen on their album. I don't really know because I'm a hbms fan, not a jack johnson fan.

The song is originally from a surfing documentary called "A Brokedown Melody". It is a Jack Johnson original, remixed and released by HBMS in 2004. The original was then released by JJ on his album "In between Dreams" in 2005
