MM8 had pretty much the BEST soundtrack of the whole original series. I honestly hate this kind of trance, BUT for this i can make an exception since the source track is so damn amazing. :]

The first four things I think of when I hear "MM8" are:

1. A little girl's voice exclaiming "Hey Bass! Why must I fight you? We are not enemies!"

2. That same voice screaming for a full 20 seconds on end,

3. The intro stage bgm,

and 4. The stage select bgm.

This remix coincides with one of those, so it's fine to me. ^‿^ ...And it'd be crazy hard to make anything musical out of one or both of the first two. =^P
