The camera work is not good I agree, I couldn't see the screen because it was SO bright on the beach and I only had the camera a few days so I was still learning. I landed an Embraer 145 there back in 2000 while delivering the jet to the U.S. from the factory in San Paulo Brazil. Nice bar right there on the beach where you can watch all the silly people getting blasted with sand.

The Sonesta is a hotel within 5 minutes walking distance. A room goes for $250/night during winter. I stayed at the Travel Inn near the other end of the runway for $145/night.  Taxi was $10 each way for an 8-minute trip. Plane fare was $350 round trip from Washington, DC
