if you want a cool speed trail on your plane put a trail off white(or whatever you choice)on the 2 back thrusters and on the middle body(don't make them thick or they may lag).

It's a really cool plane, but VERY difficult to control with 0147852369+-*/ !!!!

Just simply make an advanced pod controller, link it to the seat, and use wire trusters instead. Wire them up, and you can control it with WASD =]

Hey, here's a tip. You could use the weight tool to make the front wing and the horizontal wing on the tail the same weight. Then make the weight of the seat and the vertical part of the tail 0. That way you would only have to find the correct thruster strength once :P

Ugh, people keep asking me this question and the point is that if your plane is different to mine in any way (the wings could be a cm wider apart for example) it will need totally different thrusters. You adjust the weight before you add the thrusters. As the tutorial tells you, just make sure the middle is heavier than the wings, like the middle could be 200 and the wings could be 100. I tell people to change the weight because if you don't it will still fly but fall like paper.

you have to either download it from garrysmod (dot) org or play on a server that has it. it's possible to make a plane without the weight tool but it will drop to the ground like paper when you turn off the power.

Personally I've experimented with several different thrust systems for a plane, and I must say, that this is by far the most rewarding and fluid method of propulsion, all be it the most time consuming, which makes it so special to me.

My very first plane was constructed in a very similiar way, and although I enjoy building/pioleting other types of planes, I always come back to this one, great video :D

2: use wire. why? its harder, BUT, u can use the W,A,S,D keys which is much eaiser and better and more laptop friendly. also, it looks cooler.

i have 3 speed flight, fully colorfull plane, and i made every thruster/guns invisible, and i added bombs.

But there is a better way to make planes, u can make planes that fly like a normal vehicle in the game, without thrusters and that kind of shit...
