Is there a way to play with ultra settings on the 32bit windows 7? Freaking sucks, i was playing this on xp with ultra settings and it looked amazing. Now the graphics are downgraded, bullshit i say.

I use XFX ATI Radeon 4650 1GB GDDR2 and it runs this game at Ultra Graphics (along with 6GB Ram and 2.20GHZ AMD Phenom 9550 Quad Core) So mostly likely the 4650 and Up unless you're using NVidia then most likely a 9800GT will do fine.

Relic has a trick in the hat. Look at 1:33: "Is good to see you all again, Blood Ravens... I remember well our fighting on Kronus... Tell Captain Thule that his old friend Eliphas is anxious to see him again". Then, somehow, Eliphas has back and his crushed from Lorgar was not deffinitive. Of course, he´s not a Chaos Lord of Word Bearers anymore; but now look like a sergeant of the Black Legion maybe in a life debt and a ride over the bassilica of torments.

The playstyle in DoW2 is a deliberate change to create a more combat-based RTS. The strategy of the game now focuses on carefully managing your units, looking for field advantages and keeping your guys alive.

Fair enough, there are lots of gamers who prefer the traditional RTS playstyle and do not feel comfortable with the change. But that is not an excuse enough to say the game is shit. Games like DoW2 and Company of Heroes aimed to take RTS in a new direction, and imho they have succeeded.

Yes yogibear414 I played the game! they change it around completely. Now that they done that I hate the game! I like traditional RTS game style. There is nothing wrong with that and no need for bashing on my view. The graphics are awesome in DOW 2 so are the units.Only if it was traditional I would love DOW2. It's not so I'm not going to support the game just because everyone one else likes it. I grew up with traditional RTS and with all this new stuff game company are doing,sucks.

@yogibear414 i really don`t like the change, the dawn of war hasn`t the aktion that starcraft 2 or 1 had, or warcraft, C&C generals etc. it is a good game but they are changing to make people buy it as they say "it is something new, let try it."

i personaly didn`t like the dow 2 but dow 1 was awesome!

@TheEMPEROR800 I wasn't trying to bash the traditional RTS playstyle - i also have all the games u mentioned and i love the fast-paced style of starcraft especially. The point i am trying to make is that if all RTS's stick to that style then the market with become stagnant and people will eventually get bored -Games like DoW2 and CoH allow designers to take RTS in new directions and explore new ideas. They many not be liked by everyone but you have to admire the effort they have made.

Since Eliphas failed the campaign on Cronus and was sent into the warp (and most likely lost his position as Chaos Lord and Dark Apostle) he might have joined the Black Legion as a Champion to somehow redeem himself.

Ah thank you. I would have to order it, we have no local shops that carry codex books. In the book "Let the Galaxy Burn" There was a short story with him in it where the Word Bearers are all but destroyed by the Eldar, and at the end he faces down the Avatar of Kane.......which i had assumed he was destroyed.

The Black Legion often picks up exiles from other Legions. Therefore they have access to almost every tool and troop type in the Chaos arsenal.
