How come you have some small red pieces of tape or something on your toms?

It's to help stop ringing. That small tom can have an annoying ring to it. Moongel is what most people use, those are called Drum Gum.

i just got these things that work real good to stop the ringing, there called moon gels. they work good, and you can buy them in a 4 pack for pretty cheap

the very beginning is alternating starting on ur right hand: t=tom s=snare t,s,s,s,s,t,s,s,t,s,s,t/ that should be ur left hand, then crash and bass to start the next measure hope that helps
