@R4Zy3L well video recorders make things slow too. not too mention goldsrc (hl1 engine) doesn't handle multiple entities too well. as in; the game wasn't designed to handle that sort of stuff, so even if you computer can run hl2 fine on the source engine (hl2 engine), trying to run it on goldsrc (which is impossible due to the differences in coding) will lag like windows 95 trying to play batman arkham asylum.
