I'm sorry... But these videos give the wrong impression about Metalcore and/or Deathcore. Most bands have so much more variety of tone and theory and don't all sound the same... just saying. It's more like hes modeling after a band rather than a whole genre. My point being... There are bands of this genre that don't sound anything like this. This is only a small part of what is a whole genre... that's why his videos sound the same, not the genre. Anyways... Cheers! :)

@DeadAndy92 Meh, Metalcore is basically a modified variation of Melodic Death Metal and Post-Thrash Metal. Mostly Melodeath though, there's some compositional differences but they're very slim. Usually the vocals are the only majorly noticeable differentiating factor.

Metal fans seem to hate melodeath with a passion, not sure why. I mean I'm not fond of it, but the musical factor of it is impressive. I guess most of us just don't want to admit it's as similar to our fav bands as it really is?

Metalcore is very simple to play. It's a combination of 3 basic chord progressions with palm muting and hammer-ons/pull-offs. Is this guy really THAT good? It's hard to tell when all of his vids are similar metalcore riffs. Is he creative? Yes. Those of you saying "This guy is the best guitarist I've ever seen" should do some more research. Although, I'm sure he appreciates your compliment.

Außer seine Solos.. wenn ich es richtig gehört und gesehen habe hat er eine E-moll Pentatonik benutzt.

Sowas hat im Metalcore nichts zusuchen. Das wird hauptsächlich im Blues und im Rock verwendet.

BMFV not metalcore.TDWP Asking Alexandria agust burns red for today they have different tones yes but i will say that at 3 out of those four bands hit the sixth string open and hit fifth 3 5 7 8 10 frets while going back and forth from the sixth string. obviously. i play guitar i have learned at least one of all 4 of those bands song besides August BurnsRed cuz i dont like them to much but they all have similar notes and riffs besides fortoday
