yea i listened to scars on broadway, daron (in my opinion) has better guitar riffs with his solo but serj has better lyrical melody and lyrical transitions. thats why system has to atleast write a couple more songs before too much more time passes. good guitar riffs and lyrical input.

Oh jeeze. That's a very metalhead comment to make. Daron is very metal based so solos would be the thing he would like to focus on. Serj's music is written much better. Serj was able t take almost all the songs from Elect The Dead and turn them into an arrangement for a full 70 piece Orchestra. You could not do that to Daron's songs. Metal shows an incompetency to do this. That's what Metallica played with an orchestra Instead of re-writing their music into an orchestral format.

Along with producing Chinese Democracy by Gun's N' Roses, several Metallica CD's, Elect the Dead, and a Slayer album, he works mostly with Buckethead as a producer, bassist, drum programmer, and mixer. I know this because I am a huge Buckethead and Serj Tankian fan, so when everyone is suddenly working together... it's pretty badass.

Serj is an amazing and talented singer, and musician. His solo album is brilliantm and he still remains amazing live, but it just isnt the same without him in system of a down. To me, he was alot better infront of a full festival, rocking out on stage with shavo and darron and all the rest of soadm and he will never be able to live up to that with his solo work. Still loving the song and album though, and Serj still remains one of my heros.
