  • Very Good!!!

  • this go hard here check my videos out

  • oh this is cool very cool:)

  • Nice!!! It's funny, you can tell something about someone's character by the way they play an instrument.

  • yeahhhhh!!!!!

  • nice =)

  • how did you sync the camera to the drums to sound that good.

  • @techphy100 I think he had mics at the bottom to get the beat of the drum

  • what about moffett? he's better than lawson

  • Moffett's good, he went on tour with Michael and The Jacksons heaps of times, but Ricky Lawson all the way.

  • @VinskieZ uh, no. you're stupid

  • hmm .. thanks, pindick.

  • @VinskieZ you're welcome Cornelius

  • Very good but nothing like Ricky Lawson! Grammy...hello!

  • is westbury a good brand to start out with?

  • Yeah that's a very clean beat brother. Your sense of timing is very very good. Well done.

  • thanks,

  • Pretty Good Job!!

Dude I wish I could play just like u!!!

  • Thanks. With practice, i'm sure you'll be able to

  • This is some slammen pocket!!

  • thank you

  • Nice groove and touch. Good timing. You already sound like a decent drummer and you sound confident.

  • OMG It's like watching Ricky Lawson himself!!!

and Ricky Lawson is the reason why I play the drums!!!

  • I agree, Ricky Lawson is an incredible drummer. The drummer on this vid does it well! Nice one!

  • im putting these drum covers onto cd! they are awesome! Thankyou

  • serious pocket doc...

  • Talk about CLEAN!!!!!

  • Thats damn good man, its even better because Jam is one of my favs.

  • Awesome job!

  • relentless time

  • I have the same kit but mine is the older molder so instead of a nice 12x9 and 13x10 im stuck with 12x10 and 13x11 :P

  • Did you go to sound engineering school?

  • no I didn't. To get to where I am now, I did a lot of research. I went to a lot websites, picked up DVD's, watched and asked engineers questions as they work. And took all the information I learned and tried to apply it to my own music. With a lot of experimentation.

  • damn, man, that's great !! this is almost like Ricky Lawson himself is drummin :-)

Really, in case of sickness you should have been the one they chose to replace him. Clean, straight drumming - excellent!

WE LOVE IT! keep it up!

  • ive always wanted to know how to mic drums. this kit soudns awsome!!! the snare is amazinG!!

  • There are techniques to miking a drum kit. and what mics to use. But it does take experimentation to find the right sound. For videos about it, look it up on youtube. or type in 'drum miking' in a search engine, and you'll find a lot of info

  • One drummer to another. Nice work. Nice tone from your kit too.

  • I was just wondering what kind of skins do you use?

I got REMO's on mine and my westbury's sounds fantastic.

  • i'm using evans G2's

  • excellent work..greetngs fom istanbul..

  • what kind of snare are you using in this?

  • It's just a cheap westbure snare. But with the right heads and good tuning, I can make it sound great. Adding some eq helps too

  • Your snare...sounds PERFECT!!!!

  • woooow!

    loves it!

  • Westbury is better than most people thoughts. Nicely tuned... it sounds great. Although, it is not quality crafted drums and the worst of it is hardware.

    Nice & tight drumming.

  • I've used the westbury kit on tons of shows, and when it's well tuned, good mics, and throw some eq and comp on there and it sounds great. The only thing i'd keep on that set is the kick drum, with the right head it can sound awesome.

  • yea i got a westbury and it sounds great. i dont think they make them anymore, mine is around 8 years old i think

  • nice.

  • nice one...

    i like the snare sound.

  • great sound!!

    nice playing..

    PERFECT
