This trucking is disgustingly dirty, and a heavy smoker drove it. Check out the smoked stained header. This is the very reason i refuse to slip seat. My truck is so clean you could eat off the floor, and anybody who has got my hand me downs feel like they are getting a new truck. Drivers are pigs!

I got about 20 years on you. 1st truck I ever drove was a Diamond Reo 5 and 4 tranny. Had no idea how to shift or double clutching. Hauled cow and sheep manure for a compost co. Nasty. Then for Merchants motor line. All KW. 290 hp cummins. I remember when they got the 350hp, /we thought we had died and gone to heaven. they are so much better today, although some of these electronics can be very frustrating. Stay safe.

T-2000 is a POS. Get a T800. Man's truck. Best workhorse ever made.

A T800 is just a T600 with a different hood. Any truck can be a workhorse if you spec. it to the job to be performed !

It's really a 900 w/ setback axle. 600 good truck. 2000 is still POS I drove one for 2 month. Always felt like it was going to turn over. Only KW I haven't enjoyed. Overall I like the 800 best. Ride is almost as good as 900, but I haul over dimensional so it is nice around corners in small towns and job sites.

I drive a 2000, it's not bad,kinda like an old cab-over ! I like the roomyness inside. What does POS stand for? piss or shit? As far as ride,it's like everything else,what suspension do you have under it? I've drove T600's that rode better than  WL900's . Take Care

You must be a geezer like me. Young guns had to tell me POS is piece of chit. lol They are ok but we haul extra long, or wide, or heavy, or combination of and the 2000 is more of a fleet truck. Made for mileage. We had a few but they weren't made for heavy haul. We had 550 Cats that weren't getting mileage, but they spent some money and bumped them up to about 675 hp w/ better mufflers, manifolds, and new ecm settings and now we can average better than 5.5 mpg loaded. 900s are mainly oo trucks

I suppose I am !! 30 odd yrs. & counting !! I have one of the first "new" detriots, just a 400, I think it went up to 465 in cruise. Anyway it was a POS as far as power goes !! I finally got a mechenic that new what he was talking about in Alberqurquie,NM ( at Penske ) He reset what's called the droop in the ECM & this truck had 400 to ground after that !!! It's kinda like reseting the cam timeing,but doing it electrically. & I got alot better mpg to boot !! Keep it between the lines driver !!

the reason Kenworth went with the shape that the t200 has was to try to improve the aerodynamics of the truck, i.e make the wind pass over the truck more effectively & there-fore cutting down on the fuel costs
