That being said, I can't wait to go! This will be my 3rd time at a RIU and they are absolutely wonderful. You do have to speak up though and they will try to accomodate as much as possible.

Give her a break folks, she has every right to be pissed. It was their last night 11pm, she couldn't very well change rooms at that hour. And maybe they had an early flight out! I'm glad I saw this video, it made me question my booking. Only after seeing this did I realize I would have been stuck with the same view (I upgraded). And lastly, no 5* hotel should have people changing in the hallways in front of people's room. That is just wrong!!

I agree with the majority of these comments. You sound like the debbie downer I would never want to share walls with. Also, a 6 mos old is a little young to take traveling don't you think? I'm sure when the baby was "waaahing" on the flight there, people had a few words to exchange with you as well. Live a little.

Ive stayed a week there and had a great overall experience. Like everyone else has been saying, when your on vacation your not supposed to go to bed that early. Have some fun!

This poster is an idiot. 1. Book a better room next time. 2. When they ask you if things are ok and wave at you if you're so mad, don't just giggle and keep filming. 3. I was there in Jan and we had a view of the courtyard and reflecting pools from the 3rd floor. We only paid $140 a night per person. So next time, book last minute, leave the kid at home and plan to enjoy some nightlife.

hahahahahahahaha!!!! This is hilarious. How do people find so many things to complain about? It's not that big of a deal but that smoke thing- whew! Oh and the food poisoning you speak of was probably just the flu. More people would've been sick if it was food poisoning. That fan was also life threatening!!!

I was at this hotel and it was amazing....you should have been out there on your last night and why would you bring a 6 month old baby on vacation....dont you go on vacation to get away form things like that

I've just come back from a two week stay at this hotel and it was by far the best hotel i've stayed in. We weren't happy with our ground floor room, so i rang reception to ask if we could be changed and they did without question. I would not have been happy with this outside our room either but its 10pm not 1am and if you demanded another room i'm sure you would have got one.

The Mexicans at the hotel were the hardest working people i've seen, certainly puts some of us British to shame!!

I was there this past July and the show start at 8:30PM to around 10:00PM at 10:30PM start another show at the theater. GOING TO SLEEP THAT EARLY ON VACATION why use a fan having a nice AC??? don't get it...

Having performers get ready in the hallway shows pretty bad planning on the part of the hotel planners and architects. Having them outside of anyone's hotel room is even worse.

But, why would you think that taking your 6mo. old on a trip out of country is a good idea?
