  • oooh deux araignées qui danse sur un piano

  • @germdu51 mais la musique est sublime

  • like a boss :D

  • In Russia, the piano plays you!

  • Could you please tortorial the technical ,please.

  • wtf???

  • Wow, thats a little abrupt ! may be because you are not very tall, and you cannot use much weight to help the tone. The piano could be tuned too it would certainly help ! looks like Marguerite Long playing (wrist high) ! thanks for the demo !

  • There is no "Russian jokes" for this one?

  • BRAVO!!!

  • it is not every thing in speed. I prefer peaceful pieces like Norctums of chopin.

  • @NikolaMan93 - Then I guess you're on the wrong page, now aren't you? lol

    ( :

  • Very good, but listen kissin playng chopin etude op.10 n 4

  • Impressive

  • gorgeous, really really well played :)

  • WHAT TECHNIQUE !!!

  • Good technic.. but the piano need tuning and voicing.. sounds like a cross between a harpsichord and a honky tonk piano

  • You're from Siberia but your last name is Harris? Doesn't sound Russian. Did you take an American name?

  • lacks expression...i just don't feel it...not enough power at those moments

  • O O

  • too fast , many mistakes ...

    But nice try

  • @Maralegar2009 - WRONG! These are ETUDES, "exercises" and are supposed to be fast. And there were "zero" mistakes! Don't h8. Jealous doesn't become you...

  • @Maralegar2009 - I see you FAVORED it! ROFLMAOOOOOOOOOOOO...........

  • @PianoCriticsKiller just to see your answer ^^

I repeat many mistakes , too fast for your level ...try to play it slowly and maybe in fews years in right tempo ...

Just for information i'm conducter in Paris .. Jealous of Lugansky rendition maybe , but definitly not about this

  • Awesome. You sure are making that shitty piano sound amazing

  • Wouah.... Awesome !! Please ! Can you give me the name of the first piece you play ?

  • Hey, if possible could you give me the name of that last piece you played. Also your technique is very impressive.

  • @Pianosolful

Hi! And thank you! The last piece was Etude-tableau #4 in Eb major, by Rachmaninoff.

  • @Pianosolful chopin etude 10 n°4

  • Great sound, it would be marvellous if these would be demonstrated!! :D

  • you inspire me

  • What pieces do you play in that video ?

  • @kissenmanncreed Chopin's Étude op. 10 n°4.

  • Simply wonderful! ! ! !

  • Amazing!!!

  • Sorry, just ignore the comment. My computer's autocorrect is messed up.

  • Chopin's fourth etude foro fue mostró part

  • what is the name of the last piece?

  • @masterpikachu

Thanks for watching! The last piece was etude-tableau #4 in Eb major by Rachmaninoff.

  • @masterpikachu

Thanks for watching! The last piece was etude-tableau #4 in Eb major by Rachmaninoff.

  • MASHALLLA !!!

  • Fingers look like Vladimir Horowitz used to play. Notice how the right pinkie curls in when not being used. Also, the flat, bent fingers.

  • What's Russian about this?

  • GREAT PLAYING

  • Nice going!

  • What's the name of the Rach?

  • @hallowbe

Thanks for watching! The last piece was etude-tableau #4 in Eb major by Rachmaninoff.

  • @jawg22

    It's chopin, not rachmaninoff

  • красава

  • !!!!

  • Bravo! Encore!

    lol

  • One question please: How do you play without missing the black keys? Every time I play Fantasie Impromptu, I keep missing the black keys, and it drives me insane. I even tried playing the etude Black Keys and the same thing happens. I either miss the black keys, or my fingers keep slipping off of them. They are too high, skinny, and slippery. Sounds like excuses, but it's true for me. If there weren't any high, skinny, slippery keys, I'd be a pro. lol

    So what's your secret?

    ( :

  • @lllllllllllllll88 Try flattening your fingers more instead of curving them in sections that allow it... easier to hit the black keys that way. Search: Dong Hyek Lim Fantasie Impromptu and watch how he does it. Unfortunately someone took down the high quality version, but you can still see his hands.

  • This is like one of my favorite videos. In fact, I'll feature it. I wish I could play like this.

All I can say is AWESOME!

  • you really are a talented pianist, but this is NOT russian piano technique. The harsh tone is a giveaway.

  • horrid sound, this banjo of an instrument

  • Concert grand w/mics and fascinating talent...

  • @lllllllllllllll88

Well, I own mics NOW, but the sound in the video is just from the camera. It's really a terrible sound, my mics sound MUCH better!

  • Why doesn't my Yamaha sound like that? Is that a C7? Or do you have mics?

    Thx

  • What hollow tone!

  • small hand.. easily exhausted.. :(

  • Such Virtuosity! Splendid.

  • how is this chopin etude any russian? or, what russian character does your playing exhibit at all?

  • @satyu131089

this exhibits the technical results of having been raised and trained in Yakutsk and St. Petersburg, Russia. The strict Russian piano technique emphasizes many unique things, a couple of them can be seen here.

  • @jawg22 I'm willing to learn what those are...

  • And what is now the big difference to any other piano techniques???

  • im ashamed of myself. and good job

  • Brilliant...absolutely and wonderfully brilliant! Can you demonstrate a piece for me? It is Scriabin's Opus 8 no. 12 in D# minor? Can you do so very slowly? I would appreciate your taking the time to do so. If you like , if you can make me a tutorial for how to pay this piece I will gladly pay you. Write me Dantwane@aol.com .

    thanks,

    Antwane

  • one last thing.... are you really a Russian or did you really learn from them

  • @Zenthos01

Thank you, yes I have practiced a lot. It is my passion. I was born in America, but raised in Russian (Yakutsk, St. Petersburg), and trained there from age 4. I began university study at age 15. I have A LOT of room to continue to improve. :)

  • That nicely done. you must have took hours of dedicated practice.

  • What is your study method?

    Congratulations for your job :)

  • @pedroborges78

I first like to memorize the piece, best to do in as short a time as possible such as a couple hours, or a couple days if it is a really long piece. Then I master the technical aspects, then polish up the expressiveness...that is the longest part.

  • the rach was a bit scruffy and hurried

  • @afertyus1000

    I agree... :)

  • @afertyus1000 In her defense, this particular Rachmaninoff is quite tough.

  • @ixd735 ye i agree, i don't undersatnd where exactly the russian technique comes in though i studied Leshetizky method and it was no good for my hand due to the various contorted exercises, i felt a more natural approach is better, and this video shows a more relaxed hand technique

  • chopin etude op.10 no.4

  • WONFERFUL !!!

    SUPER!!!!

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!

  • WASSSSSSSSSUPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!
